Comfortable, casual clothing is recommended. Wear closed-toe shoes as you'll be walking on farm grounds. In cooler months, layers are advisable. Don't forget sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen) during warmer months.
Yes, children are welcome! We recommend our Private Farm Tour for families, as it can be adjusted to engage younger visitors. Children under 5 are free, and we offer reduced rates for children aged 5-12.
No, our tours do not include horseback riding. The thoroughbreds at these farms are valuable racehorses and breeding stock not used for recreational riding. However, we can recommend local stables that offer trail riding experiences if you're interested.
We recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance, especially during peak seasons (April-June and September-October). For custom tours or groups larger than 6, please try to book 3-4 weeks ahead.
Tours operate rain or shine. Many of our activities can take place undercover in barns and other facilities. In case of severe weather, we'll contact you to reschedule or modify the tour.
